FEED THE NATION PROGRAM:


Description

Provides immediate nutritional relief while promoting long-term food security in food-insecure areas of the Vaal Triangle (23.5 % of households experience hunger). 


Objectives

Deliver 50 000 balanced meals annually. Distribute 3 000 seed packs with nutrition education. Reduce household food insecurity by 20 % in targeted zones.


Activities

Mobile van distributions, community feeding points, workshops.

 

Beneficiaries

Children, elderly, unemployed families, female-headed households. 


Expected Impact:

Improved dietary diversity, reduced malnutrition. 


Sustainability

Partner with local farms + transition to Grow Your Food.

GROW YOUR OWN FOOD PROGRAM:


Description

Equips families and children with tools for home-based agriculture to combat food insecurity at its root. 


Objectives

Distribute 2 000 seed kits annually. Train 1 000 participants in sustainable gardening. Increase household food production by 30%.


Activities

Seed packs, child harvest challenges, soil & pest workshops. 


Beneficiaries

Families in Sebokeng, children in orphanages, idle elders & women. 


Expected Impact

1 500 successful harvests, greater self-reliance. 


Sustainability

Community gardens + DALRRD partnerships.

FIND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM:


Description

Tackles South Africa’s 62.2 % youth unemployment with practical job-readiness support. 


Objectives

Assist 500 youths yearly 

Achieve 50 % employment placement rate. Reduce local NEET rates by 10 %.


Activities

CV workshops, computer lab access, interview prep, employer networking. 


Beneficiaries:

Unemployed youth (15–34), women, graduates, persons with disabilities. 


Expected Impact

400 CVs refined, 300+ applications submitted.

Alumni mentorship + YES4Youth partnerships.

REPAIR MY HOME PROGRAM:


Description

Restores dignity by repairing deteriorating orphanages, elderly homes and low-income houses. 


Objectives

Repair 100 homes/facilities annually 

Improve living conditions for 500 residents. Integrate seed hampers for ongoing sustainability.


Activities

Plumbing, painting, structural fixes, post-repair evaluations. 


Beneficiaries

Orphanages (Hae Mona, Tshepong, Kgahliso) elderly homes, low-income families. 


Expected Impact

80 repairs completed, 400 hampers distributed. 


Sustainability

Local SMME partnerships + skills training.

LAUNCH MY BUSINESS PROGRAM:


Description

Empowers rehabilitated prisoners and unemployed youth to become entrepreneurs.

 

Objectives

Launch 50 businesses yearly 

Train 200 participants. Achieve 60 % one-year survival rate.


Activities

Business planning workshops, startup funding access, mentorship. 


Beneficiaries

Ex-offenders, unemployed youth in the Vaal. 


Expected Impact

100 new jobs created. 


Sustainability

NYDA/SEDA alignment + alumni networks.

LET A CHILD BE A CHILD PROGRAM:


Description:

Provides recreation for disadvantaged children, countering poverty's impact on 2.8 million orphans. 


Objectives:

Engage 1,000 children in activities yearly. Improve emotional well-being by 25%. Partner with 10 orphanages.


Activities:

Outings, play days, arts sessions. Nutrition-inclusive events. Counselling integration.


Beneficiaries:

Orphans, children from poor families in Vaal facilities.


Expected Impact:

50 events hosted. 800 participants. Feedback reports.


Sustainability:

Volunteer-driven model. Fundraise via events. Align with DSD directories for long-term support.
